Add to stash

I purchased more fat quarters, these from our local shop
nice cotton at £1.20 each, lovely quality
but she does not have a huge selection.
 I have stitched more hexagons
and plan to stitch these for the next couple of weeks
I had a pedicure yesterday and got my nails done
a much lighter blue, but will go lovely with my outfit tomorrow.
Yesterday was great, we had lunch with Su and David, and David's parents, a long chatty lunch ensuring the bride and groom had a restful time before all the rushing around today and tomorrow.
Plus both hubby and I had a pedicure in our local salon, I have an early hair appointment tomorrow at the start of a busy morning.
I started stitching Sheffield on 25th January, my photo in the last blog will be the last you see of it, the person who I was making it for has stated he does not want it, he is the partner of the troublesome family member, I have been told they read my comments on my blog. Well this is my blog, I record the highs and lows in my life, as I see them. I don't detail the lows, this is not the place for that.
This afternoon I will be at the wedding venue to help with the layouts, no plans for this evening, my brother will be arriving from Somerset.
Next time wedding photo's.

  1. Goodness me, I can't believe that someone would be so ungrateful to 'not want' something which someone has worked so hard on. Well, it's his loss in my opinion. Forget all about that now and enjoy the next few days, can't wait to see the photos.

  5. Your nails look great Marlene. I'm sorry to hear you will no longer be stitching on Sheffield. What a shame after you have put so much time into it.

  8. Have a wonderful memorable weekend. As for you know what why don't you donate it to charity via the club concerned ...I am sure they would be so grateful as most clubs do a large amount for charity and do charity events etc and then publish here so "they" can see it. I would ..Maria xx
