Carrie Rose is finished
1st stitched in January
my 8th finish of this year
Again I did not stitch the colours as suggested by the designer
I love these rows going through the work
Just pretty stitching
I tried to use colours a bit different for me
Now I have to find a use for this stitching
far too nice to sit in my work box.
Because my items are big designs, I don't get too many finishes each year. I'm also sadden, I love to stitched these designs which are released through out the year, this is finished and I have nothing to look forward to arriving in my post box.
Back to my patchwork, unless I can decide what Christmas design to stitch.
Well done on the finish, I like your choice of colours, would you be able to use it for covering a wooden box top or a little foot stool.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to see what you start next :-)
It's beautiful. Your stitching is so neat and the design and colours are just perfect.

Carrie Rose is beautiful, you've done such a fabulous job. I wonder what you'll make it in to, that's my problem with things like this, I'm not a very good sewer so I don't know what to do with things I make. I'm sure you won't have that problem though so I can't wait to see what you do with this.
ReplyDeleteWow, that's beautiful. It could be a wonderful fancy cushion cover.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on finishing such a huge, beautiful project!!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the gorgeous finish Marlene.

Absolutely beautiful. I would frame it and put it in a very special place in my home.
ReplyDeleteCongratulation on this wonderful finish. You can make a pincushion.
ReplyDeleteMy Carre Rose is finish, too. On my blog you can see it.
Greetings, Manuela
It is beautiful....I love the colours.
ReplyDeleteI have so much respect for anyone who can produce such exquisite pieces. It is something I have never taken to, so I admire any who completes such lovely works of art.
Your stitching is so intricate! I think you must have lots of patience, I think. I love the flowery bits and colours. A Christmas project sounds just the ticket.
