Back to dull

I have enjoyed this author before, another good plot, an impossible situation, which is going to be difficult for everyone to survive, loads of twists and a neat ending. Book 25 read this year.
This is his third book, I have enjoyed all of them, based around life in chambers and court, a high profile case already had it's trial by media, the author is able to weave a believable plot with a few surprises along the way. Book 26 read this year.
Another good book, I do love how her plots are all so very different, the books I have read by this author always have a strong woman, I really can't stand any book with the lead having everything, good looks, money and job. This lady is living under her murderous father's shadow, no one knows who she is, until a copycat targets her patients. Book 27 read this year.
Update on my stitching, I thought I had an issue with the centre star, so I unpicked, only to find the one stitch error was elsewhere and easily sorted, I am struggling with the white squares, I have finished two so far, they don't look very tidy, but I would struggle to unpick them.

For now I am back to reading on my kindle, our library does not have as many new books and their rotation happen less often, so now when I visit I am seeing the same books, hubby is always finding me books to add to our shared Kindle library, so far the only book purchased was the Rob Rinder one, which has only just been published, it cost 99p, so I'm happy. I am reading every evening for a couple hours, luckily hubby is a book worm as well.

Sunday I was outside again, I planted 3 of my recent purchased plants into the garden, I watered my big pots, they were all dry, daughter and the children arrived, we sat outside for most of the day, rackets, bats and frisbees were played with, Lilly loved running around with them, we ate lunch outside. Later we watched the final of Pottery throwdown on chanel 4, it was very close, both James and Steve are brilliant potters, I was pleased with the winner, won't say who, no spoilers here.

Monday all three children were at school and nursery, daughter had a deserved rest day, I stayed at home, did the housework, we are trying to get Lilly to use the cat flap, as it's cooler and we don't really want the kitchen door open most of the day, it's a struggle. I managed to cut down a pillow case for Will's Roman costume for school on Thursday.

  1. I have both of the Freida Mcfaddon books on my kindle but haven't got round to them yet. You've done loads on your stitching, it'll be finished in no time. I've been in the garden all day again today as its supposed to rain tomorrow.
