My Knitting is going well, a simple pattern to follow,
no scratching my head, trying to work out details,
simple design which knits up quickly.
Working in garter stitch for the yoke was quick and simple,
the increase seam is so neat and tidy,
For the contrast, I am using the Burrow & Soar hand dyed yarn,
which I unpicked from this shawl.
This design shows the colours much better, and looks very pretty, the stripes in places blends with the main colour, but it's a soft look. I was going to use other plain shades but I think this works better.

ReplyDeleteToday we actually had sunshine and it was even quite warm! We went for a long walk in the dunes, then drove to the car wash and even got out the hoover and hoovered and cleaned all inside the car. Amazing how a bit of sunshine gets you motivated. Best, Jane x

You'll have your cardigan knitted up in no time, especially now you've done the yoke, it'll be all plain sailing from here. Just as well that you're getting on with it now as I know you'll be out in the garden just as soon as the weather improves.
