Just a few more stitches to be done
4 snowflakes and the wire
The second tree is done, you won't notice but I had to unpick the top of the tree, star, it was one row to low, I could have gotten away with it, but I knew it was wrong. I was pleased I got so much done,
I'm not taking this to my brothers house, I have my new SAL and Santa's to stitch if I get time.
I finished the back panel of my patchwork cushion yesterday afternoon, I now want to decorate the five squares, so I am having time out to decide what to use. The plain squares make it look very different. I still have no idea for the outside panels, I can't even decide if the panels should be plain of patterned.I'm not taking this to my brothers house, I have my new SAL and Santa's to stitch if I get time.
I like your patchwork cushion, lovely fabric pieces.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous stitching :-D the detail is stunning on it. I love the cushion as well.
ReplyDeleteSkaters is looking lovely, so pretty. Do you use a snap frame rather than a hoop for cross stitch? Have a safe journey.
ReplyDeleteSafe journey, have a lovely time.
ReplyDeleteThe cushion looks great.
Love your Skating stitch, it's very sweet and the colours are pretty too.
ReplyDeleteYou've done well with your patchwork and I think sometimes it's the right thing to just sit back and think a bit before deciding the final finish and pattern.
Mucky weather here too and set in for the next 24 hours so hope your journey is problem free.
Take Care xxx
Hope you ave a lovely visit and find a bit of time for some stitching :-)
