How many!!!!

So November is here and it's list time
another month overspent and now just £95.69 saved on last year
I have  £36 left in my pot so I have to be good to save £100 on last year.
I love my new slippers, and hubby got a pair of baby shoes
not sturdy hardy slippers, but pretty ones
I could not resist these, I pop to local charity shops
looking for vintage glass decorations.
But these from M&S fits the purpose.
I have potted this up for the new year.
Our garden is not too bare
This is the 1000th post of this blog, crikey that's alot of waffle, you all deserve a medal for staying with me. So on this post I will celebrate, time for a give away, I have a few things in mind, but rather than decide before hand, I will decide after I have chosen the recipient what to send. So if you fancy a random giveaway, please add a comment on the bottom of this post, no need to advertise it, I'm not after new followers, I'm happy to post anywhere, just one question would you like hand made by me or something else, just quote which.
Today we had the funeral for Win, we have said goodbye to an amazing woman, as we heard more about her life it was clear to see she was a very special caring woman, we are lucky to have know her for 7 years, she won't be forgotten, she had a impact on everyone who knew her. Now we wait to see who our new neighbours will be.

  2. Good for all that great blogging, I know it takes lots of time. It sounds like the service for Win was well done. I know you will miss her. I had a neighbor like that myself. I still think of her and we have been here for 10 years. ( She lived in Kentucky where we used to live). If I would win your drawing, I would want you to decide.

  6. Congratulations on so many posts! It is a lot of work, but a lot of great reading for your readers. You are doing well on your challenge as you are still down on last year. Glad that the funeral for Win went as well as it could do. For the giveaway, if I were lucky enough to win, anything would be delightful I am sure!

  7. Congratulations on 1000 posts...I have a bit of a way to go yet. It sounds like Win was a very special person. Loving your Christmas Tree stitching...its coming on a real treat. If I were lucky enough to win your giveaway I would like you to choose but something handmade is always very special...but only if you have time of course. Take care.

  9. I'm sorry about your neighbor Win. We just went to a celebration of life for a man that lived life to the fullest and I still can't believe he is gone. Our holidays will not be the same without him, but I am going to do whatever I can to try to make this Christmas a good one.
Where did you find the recipe for you cake? Is it a fruit cake? It looks delish!
If I were to win your give away I would love something hand made. However, since it is such a busy season, I wouldn't want you to stress about it. So if you are too busy for hand made, then I would welcome anything. Give aways are fun! Congrats on your 1000th post!

  10. LOVE the cute blue and white slippers.

I only wear slipper when it is freezing cold outside. ANd, now with some carpet, my feet will be a lot warmer.

I just found my glass holder for rooting bulbs. Now to find some place where I can buy a single bulb for it :)

  12. My greatest hope is that when my time comes my funeral will be a celebration of my life rather than mourning its passing. Black will be banned, everyone must wear their favourite and most colourful clothes and my wake will be an outdoor party with exotic food, open fires and good music.

We would love to be considered in your giveaway, handmade is always our favourite if you have the time but if we win and you're are too busy then don't worry, we know how hectic life gets :)
