My little bit of this big World

Just stitching

Joyful World is finished for this section
I prefer January's pinky flowers
I can't wait for March
My cushion is back in the frames
I hope to finish this soon
Thanks for your kind comments on my last post, but I passed on the bottle of red and stitched instead, but my chocolate intake has risen this week.
Yesterday was much better at work, we all decided we would ignore all British Gas bills until Monday, giving us a day off from the stress they cause, so we had a fun day and I came home feeling much better.
We had a friend visit last night, so no stitching, but I hope to do some later, this after noon we have Josh and Sam for a few hours.
I am still not sure how to feel about her next door, we have for the last two years lived without any interaction with her and begun to enjoy life in our garden. The daughter and mother had a huge row on Friday evening, we could hear them through our walls, we try and ignore them shouting at each other. We have never had problem with neighbours before, we get on with the mother as much as we can, she can be feisty at times.  We hope the daughter is not going to try any thing else to get at us, we already have security lights around the property and two cameras one looks at our cars and the other over the entrance to our garden.
Win is still in hospital, I did not get to see her on Thursday night, family are with her at weekends so it will be next week before I see her.

  1. Problem neighbours are awful, they can make life very unpleasant indeed (we had experience of this some years ago). It's not good when you have problems at work too, no wonder you need chocolate! I hope things don't get too bad.

  3. That little January Fox is adorable. I can tell that this is going to be a sweet project.

And that cushion . . . . WOWZA! It looks HUGE! It is just an amazing work of art when seeing the whole project.

  4. Your stitching is looking wonderful. I haven't started part 2 of Joyful World - I will do that in February. Glad to hear work was better for you on Friday. Shame about your neighbours.

  6. Your stitching looks really good & I need to join in with the SAL. Problem neighbours are no good at all, we had issues several years back when our neighbours granddaughter moved in for a while. Thankfully over time the noise problems were solved xx

  7. I didn't realise that your neighbour was being vicious. I thought perhaps they were a bit senile as our neighbour was. That can't be very nice for you. At least the police have now got the measure of her and hopefully won't take her vexacious complaints seriously.

  8. Sorry to hear that you are having so many troubles, I hope that you can find some comfort in your stitching time and that it will soon pass and be better. Ignoring the bills for a day or two won't hurt. xx

  9. I've decided that I'm going to join in with the Stitch Along, I just need to gather everything I need now. I shall just go at my own pace though rather than trying to keep up. Your cushion is looking great, it's going to be beautiful when it's finished.

I hate you are having neighbour woes. People are so hateful sometimes X
