All sorts

I am enjoying my cross stitch at this point
these are the colours of summer.
Nothing doing here
 Few knots here
Been purchasing these, naughty but interesting
It's Peony time, this plant once again is stunning.
With loads more blooms to come
The hot weather was wonderful, I spent 3 days in the garden, not much to do and becoming friends with our sun loungers. I am blessed to have so much time these days, I love being at home, even on my own and can always find plenty to do in between drinking tea and resting.
Monday we had a great BBQ, Will played in our garden for the first time, I got his ball pit out and placed at the back of the lawn which was in shade, plus a blanket on the grass and his toys. He did spend time with hubby in the garage sat on the motor bike, our grands sons either love or hate the bike. It is pure joy to see another healthy little lad playing in the garden.
Tuesday, I had a lazy start and then went to sign class, we are now splitting into pairs and having conversations without words, this will help us read signs as well as learning new signs. I spent the afternoon again in the garden, I must have a years supply of vitamin  D from the sunshine, I have been using factor 30 to protect my skin.
This morning it's another sunny start, but much cooler, I have boring things, housework and ironing to do, with no plans for later. I will walk to the village it's market day, and I need a visit to the library.
My lovely tulips have gone over,
but even in their final days they were interesting to look at.

  1. The weather's been glorious. Another sunny day here today but cooler, which I don't mind. I love being at home too, I have so many hobbies that I never get bored. I tend to get my jobs done on a morning so that I can do as I please in the afternoon, I've already done the vacuuming and the ironing this morning.

    1. I'm almost done with my house work, how can the place get so grubby when we are outside all day.

  2. Have a lovely day, it sounds perfect. I'm at work at the moment but will be out in the garden after I finish at lunchtime :-) It's so nice to be able to sit and eat tea outside too.

  3. I am looking forward to the day she I can enjoy a sun lounger with little to do in the garden. Due to our neglect while working we have lots to do before we get to that stage but we will get there I'm sure.
