I have been reading some of your posts and admiring your makes. I don't knit unfortunately! That little knitted shawl with pom poms is gorgeous!! Mum did try to teach me and the results were always a terrible mess. However, crochet is another thing all together! I picked it up from my Grandma when I was about 10 yrs old,and ...like a fish to water :-) As for Christmas, like you, I have different projects to make for gifts but at present they are in my head and not on my hook...sigh!! We are undergoing curfew here in Alicante but they are talking about a national lockdown again...we will see. I am going to follow you now on the google widget and also add you to my blog roll :-) keep well Amanda Crafty in the Medhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15365932964481050936noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1117235929033462254.post-69580272166370449242020-11-02T09:37:36.902+00:002020-11-02T09:37:36.902+00:00Not seeing youngest daughter and grandsons is the ...Not seeing youngest daughter and grandsons is the hard part, we normally see them a few times each week, I have never had a problem with staying at home, it's the best way to reduce this virus. It has been pulled to pieces a couple of times but I shall continue. I'm coming up to the heel and it's all getting a bit complicated🤦♀️🤦♀️. Looking forward to seeing your November crafting. It's nice to go to a thicker wool from time to time when you're used to using 4ply, it makes a change for things to knit up quicker. What a lovely idea to give your sign language teacher the Twelve Days of Christmas stitching, it will have meaning with her teaching you to sign it. I think we're doing the right thing going into lockdown again, though I think schools, colleges and universities should be closed too. I just hope that people take notice of the restrictions, there are so many neighbours in my street who have housefuls, and it isn't just a one off, they have people round every day, it's so annoying when so many of us are sticking to what we should be doing. Eleanor hasn't seen Jacob since they got engaged and we haven't seen Daniel and Jasmine since Christmas, I'm not sure we're even going to be seeing them this Christmas the way things are going.Johttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17436932004631816039noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1117235929033462254.post-7247994359853882452020-11-01T14:38:23.545+00:002020-11-01T14:38:23.545+00:00Knitting for grandchildren is special, full of love...Knitting for grandchildren is special, full of love.busybusybeejayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04570020362062932692noreply@blogger.com
